Charter Bus Features

A full-size charter bus is built for the road. These are the same highway coaches used by touring bands, pro sports teams and Fortune 500 companies. Every seat faces forward with a full view through tinted windows. The ride is smooth, quiet and climate-controlled from front to back.

  • 50–56 reclining seats with armrests, footrests and headrests. Enough legroom for adults on multi-hour trips.
  • Onboard restroom — essential for highway trips. No gas station stops unless you want them.
  • WiFi and power outlets on most coaches. Your team stays connected during corporate trips.
  • Undercarriage luggage bays — room for suitcases, equipment and supplies on multi-day trips.
  • PA system and video monitors for presentations, announcements or movies during the ride.
  • ADA-accessible options available on request. Wheelchair lifts and designated seating on select coaches.

The luggage bays underneath hold roughly 10–12 cubic feet per person. Enough for suitcases, golf bags, trade show materials or band equipment. If your group travels heavy, let us know and we'll match you with a coach that has extra cargo capacity.

Charter Bus Pricing

Charter bus pricing in Dallas depends on three things: how far you're going, how long you need the bus and when you're traveling. Weekend rates run higher than midweek. Peak season (March through June and October through December) books fast. Planning ahead saves money — we can usually lock in better rates with 2–3 weeks notice.

Trip Type Rate Example Cost
Local (Dallas area, hourly)$150–250/hr6 hrs = $900–1,500
Day trip (Dallas to Austin)Flat rate$1,800–2,800
Day trip (Dallas to Houston)Flat rate$2,200–3,200
Multi-day (per day)$1,500–3,500/day3 days = $4,500–10,500

All rates include driver, fuel and insurance. Tolls, parking and driver tip are separate. 4-hour minimum on local bookings. Full breakdown on our cost page.

Per-person math makes charter buses one of the cheapest ways to move a large group. A 6-hour local booking at $200/hr comes out to $1,200 total. Split that across 50 passengers and you're looking at $24 per person. Try getting an Uber across Dallas for that.

How Booking Works

The process takes about five minutes on your end. Fill out the quote form or call us with your date, pickup location, destination and passenger count. We'll send back a detailed quote within an hour during business hours. Most quotes come back in under 30 minutes.

Once you confirm, we lock in the bus and assign a driver. You'll get the driver's name and phone number 24 hours before pickup. On the day of your trip, the bus arrives 15 minutes early. Your driver handles all the logistics — routing, parking, timing. You just get on and ride.

We require a 25% deposit to hold your reservation. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the trip. Cancellations made 14+ days out get a full refund. Inside that window, the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied to a future booking within 6 months.

Popular Charter Bus Routes from Dallas

Dallas sits right in the middle of Texas, which makes it a natural starting point for charter trips in every direction. Most of the major cities in the state are within a 3–5 hour drive — close enough for a comfortable day trip or an easy overnight.

  • Dallas → Austin — 3 hours. SXSW, ACL, corporate retreats, University of Texas games.
  • Dallas → San Antonio — 4.5 hours. Riverwalk trips, conventions, Fiesta, Spurs games.
  • Dallas → Houston — 4 hours. Corporate travel, Texans/Astros games, conventions at NRG/GRB.
  • Dallas → Oklahoma City — 3.5 hours. Thunder games, OU/Texas weekend, corporate trips.
  • DFW Convention shuttles — Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, Gaylord Texan, AT&T Stadium events.

For trips over 5 hours each way, we recommend a multi-day booking. The driver needs rest time per DOT regulations — 10 hours off duty after 10 hours of driving. We handle all the scheduling so you don't have to think about compliance.

Corporate Charter Bus Rental in Dallas

Corporate clients make up about half our charter bookings. The use cases are consistent: employee shuttles between office campuses, transportation to off-site meetings and retreats, convention delegate shuttles and client entertainment for sporting events.

Companies in the Legacy West and Frisco corridor use charter buses regularly for team events. Same with the Las Colinas business district. When you're moving 40–50 employees from one location to another, a charter bus beats a caravan of rental cars every time. Less liability. Less parking hassle. Everyone arrives together and on time.

We can brand buses with your company signage for recurring contracts. Monthly billing is available for clients who book four or more trips per month. Talk to us about a corporate rate if your company needs regular group transportation in the DFW area.

Charter vs. Party Bus vs. Minibus

Charter buses are for travel and comfort — highway trips, long distances, corporate image. Party buses are for entertainment — LED lights, sound, bar area. Minibuses split the difference for smaller groups that need comfort without the full 56-seat coach. If you're moving 50+ people more than 30 minutes, a charter bus is the right call.

Not sure which bus type fits? Here's the quick rule. Under 25 people for a short trip — go with a minibus. Under 40 people who want to party — get a party bus. Over 40 people going any real distance — charter bus. We'll help you figure it out when you request a quote.

What to Expect on Your Trip

Your driver shows up in a clean, inspected coach 15 minutes before the scheduled pickup. Every bus goes through a pre-trip inspection — tires, brakes, lights, HVAC and fluid levels. Our drivers are CDL-licensed with passenger endorsements and clean driving records. They know DFW roads and they know Texas highways.

During the trip, the driver manages everything. Fuel stops, route changes, traffic detours — that's their job. You'll have the driver's cell number if plans change mid-trip. Need to add a stop? No problem. Want to push departure back an hour? Just text the driver.

After the trip, the driver handles the return. Cleanup is included. If you left something on the bus, call us within 48 hours and we'll track it down.
