School buses carry the most people for the lowest price. A 72-passenger school bus at $100/hr works out to $1.39 per person per hour. Try getting that rate with any other vehicle. No reclining seats, no WiFi, no restroom — but if your group doesn't need those things, a school bus saves serious money.

These aren't retired district buses held together with duct tape. Every bus in our fleet passes regular DOT inspections. Clean seats, working AC (on equipped models), functional emergency exits and a CDL-licensed driver with a passenger endorsement. They ride like school buses — firm seats, bench style, three to a row. But they're safe, reliable and cheap.

School Bus Pricing

School buses are the most affordable option in our fleet by a wide margin. The per-person cost drops fast as you fill seats. A full 72-passenger bus on an 8-hour rental works out to about $11–17 per person for the entire day. Good luck matching that with ride-shares or rental cars.

Dallas-area schools and organizations hit the same spots year after year because they work. Here are the trips we run most often:

• → Perot Museum of Nature and Science — downtown Dallas. 30-minute drive from most DFW schools. Half-day trip, usually 4 hours.
• → Dallas Zoo — south Dallas. Full-day trip. Pack lunches or buy inside. The bus waits in the parking lot.
• → Fort Worth Stockyards — 45 minutes west. History, cattle drives, western culture. Pairs well with the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
• → Texas State Fair — Fair Park, September–October. Multiple buses available for school groups during Fair season.

AC vs. Non-AC School Buses

This matters in Texas. From May through September, a non-AC school bus hits 100+ degrees inside within minutes of sitting in the sun. For winter trips or short rides under 20 minutes, a non-AC bus is fine and saves $15–30/hr. For anything in warm months or trips over 30 minutes, spend the extra on AC. Your passengers will thank you.

Safety and Compliance

Every school bus in our fleet meets FMCSA safety standards. Drivers carry CDL licenses with passenger endorsements. Background checks are standard. For school district rentals, we provide certificates of insurance and can meet district-specific requirements on request.

Emergency exits are tested before every trip. First aid kits are on board. Fire extinguishers are inspected quarterly. If a school or organization needs to verify our safety record, we'll provide documentation same day.
